The People Behind Your Spaces

Meet the designers who transform ordinary interiors into living, breathing environments through thoughtful floral artistry

Stories That Shape Our Design

Every arrangement we create carries the personal journey of our team members. Here's how individual passions became collective expertise.

Nayeli Winters, Creative Director

Nayeli Winters

Creative Director & Founder

I started collecting pressed flowers in university dorm rooms back in 2019. What began as stress relief during architecture studies became something much deeper when I realized how dramatically plants changed the energy of cramped spaces.

After graduating in 2022, I spent eight months traveling through botanical gardens across Europe, sketching design concepts and learning traditional preservation techniques from master gardeners. That journey taught me that floral design isn't just decoration – it's environmental psychology.

Now I focus on creating what we call "living systems" rather than static arrangements. Each installation considers light patterns, air circulation, and how people actually move through spaces.

Zelda Morrison, Senior Floral Consultant

Zelda Morrison

Senior Floral Consultant

My background is actually in facility management – I spent five years maintaining corporate office environments before discovering how much impact strategic plant placement could have on employee wellbeing and productivity.

In early 2024, I joined Texnovalex because I was fascinated by Nayeli's approach to combining aesthetics with practical space function. I bring the operational perspective that ensures our beautiful designs actually work in real business environments.

My specialty is seasonal rotation systems for commercial clients. We create quarterly design schedules that keep interiors feeling fresh while considering budget constraints and maintenance requirements that busy offices can actually handle.

Where Art Meets Science

Our approach combines creative vision with environmental science. We study how different plant species interact with specific lighting conditions, humidity levels, and traffic patterns to create installations that thrive rather than merely survive.

This methodical approach developed from years of learning what works in real spaces versus what looks impressive in photos. Every project teaches us something new about the relationship between plants and human behavior.

Biophilic Design Integration

We design with human psychological responses to natural elements, creating spaces that reduce stress and improve focus through strategic plant placement and species selection.

Sustainable Maintenance Systems

Our installation methods prioritize long-term plant health through proper drainage, appropriate soil composition, and realistic care schedules that fit busy lifestyles.

Seasonal Adaptation Programs

We create rotation schedules that keep interiors vibrant year-round while respecting natural plant cycles and providing variety without constant replacement costs.

Our Evolution as Designers

From individual curiosity to collaborative expertise – the moments that shaped our understanding of interior floral design

March 2023

First Commercial Project

Designed a lobby installation for a tech startup that wanted something "different from typical office plants." This project taught us the importance of understanding company culture in design decisions.

September 2023

Partnership Formation

Nayeli and Zelda officially partnered after collaborating on three successful projects. Their combined artistic vision and practical expertise created a unique service offering in the Baku market.

January 2024

Sustainable Methods Development

Developed our signature maintenance-friendly installation techniques after learning from early projects where beautiful designs failed due to impractical care requirements.

June 2024

Expanded Service Offerings

Added seasonal rotation programs and plant health consulting after clients requested ongoing support rather than one-time installations.

Present - 2025

Focused Growth

Currently working with twelve regular commercial clients while developing new techniques for challenging interior environments like low-light spaces and high-traffic areas.
